Allianz Partners and Mazda UK extend partnership

Roadside assistance partnership to run until April 2029

Allianz Partners UK has extended its new and used car roadside assistance partnership with Mazda UK until April 2029.

All customers buying a new or approved used car from a Mazda dealership will benefit from Mazda Roadside Assistance provided by Allianz Partners. This includes a fully digitalised customer journey – which is integrated into Mazda’s customer path, enabling fast automated help for customers, backed by a seamless omnichannel experience. The digital platform allows Mazda customers to report their location and the nature of their incident, monitor when the technician will be with them and, soon, they will even be able to select alternative onward travel options to their destination.

This service is supported by Allianz Partners’ own fleet of vans and skilled technicians who are the most highly trained in the sector, fixing 9 out of 10 cars they attend at the roadside. All technicians are EV trained, future-proofing Allianz Partners’ roadside assistance service. For those vehicles that can’t be fixed at the roadside, Mazda customers benefit from a recovery service, where the car will be towed to the nearest Mazda dealership.

As a leading provider of roadside assistance services, Allianz Partners first collaborated with Mazda UK over 25 years ago, initially as the provider of Mazda’s Extended and Approved Used Car warranty programmes which are still on offer today. Roadside assistance is also included within these products, giving Mazda owners additional peace of mind beyond the new car warranty period.

David Wilson-Green, Director, Customer Services, Mazda UK, said: “We have worked alongside Allianz Partners in the UK now for a quarter of a century, which is remarkable in industry these days. At Mazda we want the best for our customers.  Working with suppliers such as Allianz Partners provides us with the confidence that however small our customers’ need is, we’ll collectively be there to help.”

Matt Crawford, Head of Sales – Roadside Assistance, Allianz Partners comments, “Extending our partnership with Mazda UK for a further five years is testament to the strength of relationships we pride ourselves on building. Our long-standing collaboration demonstrates we are the best placed provider to help Mazda enhance the service they provide to their customers.”

Allianz Partners provides roadside assistance support for Mazda in 25 European countries.
